City of Dallas Building Process

This is not a joke, this was taken directly from www.dallascityhall.com/building-inspection/construction_process.html. It would be enlightening to see the first pink square "Start Permit Process" expanded into a flow chart, there is no way a single pink square accurately depicts the labyrinth that is the permitting process.

It Begins

Construction begins...the original red gum veneer was too badly damaged to repair. it's off and will get replaced. we are keeping the fireplace, although adding some veneer to it. keeping the original cabinet you see here bottom right. trying to keep the original integrity of the house..

This house was designed by Howard Meyer in 1957. It has been relatively untouched since then. It needs some love.... And we are giving it.

Renovation started a few months ago and progress photos will be posted in days..
